Future of Ukraine impossible without Russia, ROC claims

While the Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully liberating their native land from the invaders, the Russian Orthodox Church continues to spread its propaganda tales. They have expressed the opinion that Ukraine’s great future is impossible in isolation from Russia.

“One must understand that Ukraine in itself is a phenomenon that cannot be independent, it must be connected to something. When Ukraine was part of the Russian Empire, Soviet Union, it was great: great culture, great economy, great people. (…) how proud we were of this – our granary, health center!”  said priest Alexander Volkov, editor-in-chief of the Journal of the Moscow Patriarchate, which is the official print outlet of the Russian Orthodox Church, Russian media report.

Now, in his opinion, Ukraine needs to “stick to someone else… it is now attached to Europe – such an intellectual, cultural and economic appendage.”

At the same time, the editor of the official printed organ of the Russian Orthodox Church says that Ukraine will not be able to integrate into Europe, because the Europeans themselves allegedly do not want this.

In fact, everything is exactly the opposite. Most of the world’s states are rethinking their economic future, they understand that the future will be without Russia. In particular, the expert of the Foreign Policy Council Ukrainian Prism Oleksandr Kraiev spoke about this. According to him, “world leaders see Russian President Vladimir Putin as violator of international law, who keeps creating problems for everyone.” Of course, Ukraine cannot build its future with criminals and murderers. Therefore, as the president noted, it is better without light, but without you (Russians).
