In Khmelnytsky region, another parish quits Moscow Patriarchates, joins OCU

On March 23, residents of the village of Shekeryntsi at the village Council decided by a majority vote to join the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

This was announced by a local priest, Volodymyr Kovalchuk

The church community appealed to the OCU hierarch, Bishop Pavlo of Khmelnytsky and Kamyanets-Podilsky, to accept them into the Khmelnytsky Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

Earlier the SFU reported that ten parishes of the UOC-MP have moved to the OCU in Khmelnytsky region since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. The latest community is the eleventh.
