We pray for you: Orthodox Church of Ukraine congratulates students on their holiday

The Orthodox Church of Ukraine congratulated the students on their holiday, Student’s Day. The OCU prays that the Lord will develop students’ talents and give them spiritual and physical strength.

“Dear students! On behalf of all of our church family, we sincerely congratulate you on your holiday, Student’s Day. Be aware that we place great and brave hopes on you and pray that the Lord will help you multiply your talents and bless you with everything necessary for your spiritual and physical strengthening and growth,” reads the post on the OCU Facebook page.

The Ukrainian Church noted that every day gifted by God is a wonderful opportunity to realize oneself, expand horizons, learn something new and useful, expand good in this world, help others, become better, and grow spiritually.

“So please, grow, improve, learn, love, and live so that your every day is filled with joy, happiness, and the warmth of human gratitude for good deeds. Gain knowledge, find a job to your heart’s content, do not hesitate to hug your parents more often, do not be afraid to make friends, choose friends and loved ones with all your heart, protect friendship and good relations from all evil. And in the words of the holy apostle Paul, ‘be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good!’ (Rom. 12:21),” reads the address of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
