OCU Archimandrite asks to pray for misled brothers with ROCinU stuck in webs of Moscow Patriarchate’s ideological poison

OCU Archimandrite Sofroniy (Chupryna) has asked believers to pray for the misled brothers from the ROCinU, who remain in the webs of the ideological poison spread by the Moscow Patriarchate.

“Prayer works wonders! Brothers and sisters, let us pray for our misled Orthodox brothers and sisters who remain in the grip of the ideological poison propagated by the Moscow Patriarchate. Thousands of believers have fallen into the trap, and now they are stuck in the devil’s anvil, and through propaganda, lies, slander, the devil forges their souls, darkens their thoughts, confuses their minds, upsets the hearts,” wrote Archimandrite Sofroniy.

He added that the supporters of the Moscow Church have no peace of mind and no love.

“Only the constant search for enemies, culprits, heretics, schismatics […] Pride pushes them to the abyss, but they don’t see it. It comes to the point that, being mortal, they dare to judge their neighbors before God’s Last Judgment.”

“Spiritual blindness pushes them to mad action. By their words and deeds, they put hot coals on their heads, thinking they are serving God. But the greater sin lies not on these lost souls, but on their teachers, fathers-propagandists, who know the truth, while teaching their flock lies. How much dirt has been erupting from them, through various social networks. There are no moral boundaries, no Christian principles; pastoral and journalistic ethics have been forgotten; only lies, gossip, and ridicule. The more shameful their behavior, whether in real life or sitting in a comfortable chair in front of a monitor, the better for propaganda of lies,” said the OCU Archimandrite.

“Distorting facts, ridiculing, mocking, denigrating, committing anti-government acts, pickets or whatever – they call it “standing in the faith.” A vivid example of this is the arrival of His All-Holiness in Ukraine. How many vain rumors and related lies were being spread about the alleged “thousands” who rallied against the Patriarch of Constantinople, while in fact it was meager gatherings of pensioners and the unemployed, chronic protesters, participants in  the so-called ‘processions,’” the hieromonk emphasized.

“Plenty of time has passed, but they still can’t control their aggression. Their distorted minds invent more and more fake news. Deceived people ‘consume’ informational excrement for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, believing that this is some true and useful information. Isn’t it spiritual blindness, which leads not to Christ, but straight down to the place where liars and slanderers are?

“Let us, brothers and sisters, pray for these people, because the Lord has risen for them, too. Once in the devil’s nets, they need our Christian help like no other. Perhaps our common prayer will reveal the Truth to at least some of them, and this Truth will set them free from the geopolitical propaganda of the Moscow Patriarchate.

“Save, O Lord, and have mercy on those who hate and offend us, and do us harm, and do not let them perish for Your unspeakable mercy. Amen,” Archimandrite Sofroniy summed up.
