    OCU Metropolitan consecrates new Saint Nicholas church in Lviv region

    Metropolitan Dymytriy of Lviv and Sokal paid an archpastoral visit to the Kamyanka-Buzka denomination, where he performed the rite of great consecration of the church in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the village of Zabuzhia and served the first Divine Liturgy.

    That’s according to the press service of the OCU’s Lviv-Sokal diocese.

    Archpriest Mykola Yermyshyn, the church’s rector, delivered an address during the meeting in the church.

    Ahead of the Divine Liturgy, the bishop consecrated the throne and the temple. During the consecration ceremony, Metropolitan Dymytriy, together with the clergy and the faithful, performed a solemn procession through the churchyard with a part of the holy relics, sprinkling the walls with holy water.

    After that, the Divine Liturgy began, presided over by Metropolitan Dymytriy with the participation of the diocese’s clergy.
