UGCC hands over dozen ambulances to Ukraine’s health care facilities

The head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Sviatoslav handed over 12 ambulance vehicles to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to support medical facilities.

This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

Funds to buy the vehicles were raised by UGCC parishioners and Ukrainian communities, including forced migrants in Austria.

“Today, each of us is fighting against the aggressor for the future and freedom of Ukraine. Our great and joint victory is being created by joint steps and joint action for the protection of our people. And today we are especially grateful for such comprehensive and powerful spiritual support, which the Ukrainian church provides to our medics. And also we are thankful for the constant painstaking work to attract assistance from all over the world,” said Deputy Minister of Health Iryna Mykychak.

Ambulances containing resuscitation equipment were handed over to drivers of military hospitals and health care facilities of Kherson and Kropyvnytskyi, as well as district hospitals of Kirovohrad region.
