Armed Forces Day is celebrated in Ukraine on Tuesday, December 6. This year, Ukrainian defenders became a legend and made the whole world marvel at their skill, perseverance, and devotion to their country.
Valery Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, congratulated the military on their holiday, saying he was proud to serve his country side by side with such soldiers, sergeants, officers, and veterans.
“I wish the wounded soldiers a speedy recovery! To all who are in the ranks – strength and stability, inspiration and joy, victorious peace! Proud to be your Commander in Chief during at this difficult time. I believe in each of you and in our Victory. Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!” Zaluzhnyi stressed.
President Volodymyr Zelensky joined in the congratulations. He noted that this year the Armed Forces of Ukraine are celebrating their 31st anniversary.
“Our Armed Forces protect our homeland, and this gives the strongest possible motivation. They fight for freedom, and this always increases any strength. They defend the truth, and therefore the future of Ukraine. We are proud of you, admire you, thank you. To each and every one!” Zelensky emphasized.
