At a time when the whole world condemns the crimes of the Russian authorities and troops, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church expresses his gratitude to them! He traditionally spoke after the Liturgy, delivering yet another militaristic speech (I can’t call it a sermon) in the so-called ‘main temple of the Russian armed forces.’ There are simply no words to express my indignation and disgust over the propaganda speech in a religious wrapper!
Whom does this so-called patriarch thank, and for what exactly? He thanks the Kremlin’s antichrist and Satan’s offspring for the hell in the heart of Europe! The murderers – for the thousands of innocent Ukrainian citizens killed, including several hundred children! The monsters – for shelled maternity hospitals, schools, clinics, and parks. The marauders – for tens of thousands of looted Ukrainian homes! The rapists – for all the raped Ukrainian women and underage girls! The sadists – for humiliating and torturing Ukrainians in the basements of Mariupol, Popasna, Bucha, and Irpin!
In addition, Cyril’s recollections of the ruined Leningrad, which he saw as a child and which still seems to remain in his memory, sounded especially cynical! Is there anyone in Russia who would show him a photo of, or rather bring this “patriarch” to besieged Mariupol, lead him through spend the streets of Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel, and Chernihiv? For him to see with his own eyes all that those he is thanking and for whom he is praying, and setting as an example to others, have done with his blessing…
After such a trip, I would like to hear from him the answer to only two questions:
- Are these crippled Ukrainian cities very different from what is engraved in his memory?
- Is the army of “liberators” any different from that of the Nazis?
Any sane person would be shocked by all these atrocities and crimes, but not the Russian patriarch. He continues to praise and bless all this lawlessness. Moreover, he hypocritically declares that Russia “has never attacked anyone and does not seek to capture and occupy anyone”! Only a criminal can say that, not a patriarch!
Therefore, all of this is yet another piece of evidence that the ROC is not a Church, but a religious and ideological branch of the Kremlin, designed to justify all its crimes! And Gundyaev (Cyrill – ed.) is an accomplice in Russian crimes.
So, Russian military patriarch, go…. to hell!
