Archbishop Elpidophoros of America attended the inauguration of President Donald Trump, the 47th President of the United States, on January 20, 2025.
While thousands were expected to attend the outdoor event, the inauguration was held inside the U.S. Capitol due to the extreme cold. The report comes from the Archbishop’s Facebook page.
Archbishop Elpidophoros also attended the National Prayer Service at Washington National Cathedral, D.C., on January 21. “This interfaith National Prayer Service has been part of the Inauguration celebrations since George Washington’s presidency, gathering interfaith and ecumenical leaders to offer prayers for thanksgiving and guidance,” reads the report.
It should be recalled that during his inaugural speech, Donald Trump said God had saved to make America great again.
