On November 11, the Primate of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Ukraine met with the Commander of the Territorial Defense Forces, Major General Anatolyi Barhylevych, receiving him at his residence, the Metropolitan House.

During the meeting, the parties discussed challenges in the context of the ongoing fight against the Russian invaders and the continuation of fruitful cooperation toward the spiritual support of Ukrainian soldiers – Homeland defenders.
In this regard, Metropolitan Epifaniy noted that a chaplain in the Army should always remain a clergyman, prayer leader, and mentor, and not just a soldier.
It is his primary purpose and mission, Epifaniy believes.
