    Zelensky, Shmyhal congratulate Muslims of Ukraine on Ramadan-Bayram

    President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated the Muslims of Ukraine on the occasion of the Ramadan-Bayram holiday, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

    “I heartily congratulate you on the occasion of the Ramadan-Bayram fasting holiday, which is a symbol of such human virtues as sensitivity, helping the needy and disadvantaged. During the great trials that have befallen our country, the Islamic community of Ukraine, just as the entire Ukrainian people, demonstrates patriotism and does everything possible to protect the independence and territorial integrity of the state. I am convinced that in unity, we will definitely win and the long-awaited peace will come to our native land,” the Head of State’s greeting reads.

    The President wished Muslims good health, steadfast faith, harmony, and prosperity, RISU reports.

    In turn, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal also congratulated Muslims on Ramadan Bayram. He wished them inspiration for good deeds and further fight for the freedom of Ukrainians.

    “I sincerely congratulate Muslims on the holiday of Ramadan-Bayram, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. May the spirit of brotherhood and unity gained during this special month inspire good deeds and further fight for our country’s freedom,” the head of government said in his greeting.

    The Prime Minister wished all Muslims of Ukraine a blessed holiday, help from the Almighty, sincere and unbreakable faith in Ukrainian defenders.

    “Let all troubles recede, and peace and well-being return to our land,” stressed Denys Shmyhal.
