The head of the autocephalous Ukrainian Orthodox Church honored the guests with church awards and discussed with them the ongoing fight against Russian invaders.
“We are fighting to preserve the most valuable treasure – our freedom. We are fighting for a dignified future for the Ukrainian people. We need to understand that not only the external enemy is dangerous, but also the internal one. Therefore, the victory will not be complete and full-fledged if we fail to properly confront the murderous ‘Russian world,’ which above all else is trying to hold on to Ukraine and influence our fellow citizens,” said Metropolitan Epifaniy.
