On Sunday, the invaders attacked Kherson and the populated areas across the region. In the village of Kindiyka just outside the regional center, the enemy fired at a local church during the Sunday service.
This is stated in the report by the Regional State Military Administration.
Referring to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the enemy shelled the areas of Vesele, Beryslav, Chornobayivka, Antonivka, and the city of Kherson.
Russian terrorists also hit the village of Poniativka of the Daryivka community, employing mortars. The enemy purposefully attacked a residential building. A woman and her two sons, born in 2016 and 2008, were killed in the enemy strike.
In the village of Kindiyka, in the suburbs of Kherson, during the Sunday service, the enemy fired at the local church. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The church also survived the strike but the windows were shattered. The house of the priest suffered the greatest destruction, being directly hit by a Russian projectile.
Over the day, the enemy forces have opened fire 74 times (launching 354 rounds).
Seventy-four people evacuated the de-occupied territories of Kherson region, including four children.
