Russian Orthodox Church reacts to Canada’s sanctions against Cyril

The Russian Orthodox Church continues to pretend that they are not guilty, and their actions do not deserve sanctions. That is why the Russian Orthodox Church called Canada’s introduction of sanctions against the Moscow Patriarch Cyril, who supports the crimes of the Kremlin and Putin, “sanctions arbitrariness.”

This was reported by the hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Leonid (Gorbachev), the Spiritual Front of Ukraine wrote.

“Instead of looking for any points of contact, the collective West is confidently making a mess wherever possible. Oh well. I will repeat once again. We don’t need this kind of hockey!” Metropolitan Leonid (Gorbachev) of the Russian Orthodox Church, who is responsible for the split in Africa, wrote on his Telegram channel.

Earlier, a decision of the Canadian government was published on the introduction of sanctions against 29 citizens of Russia, including Patriarch of Moscow Cyril and the head of Roskomnadzor, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Maria Zakharova, and other ruscists.

This is why the NSDC proposes to introduce sanctions against representatives of dioceses of the UOC-MP in Crimea.
