Russia stubbornly refuses to believe that all the sanctions imposed by the international community are not because everyone hates Russia, but because Russia has occupied Crimea and eastern Ukraine. Moreover, despite the atrocities that the ruscists are committing in Ukraine (destruction of churches, genocide of Ukrainians, rape and torture of civilians), Russia dared to claim some “spiritual and moral values.”
A war criminal, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev, expressed the opinion that the West seeks to achieve through sanctions the spiritual and moral degradation of Russia, Interfax reports.
“The purpose of the latest actions of the collective West is obvious: to designed sanctions for Russia to communicate with the rest of the world, including in the field of science, modern high technology. To undermine the Russian economy, to slow down the development of our country, to create conditions for the spiritual, moral, and cultural degradation of the population,” Patrushev said at a meeting of the Scientific Council of Russia on Tuesday.
Russia continues to stubbornly ignore its own crimes and, manipulating the truth, saying that it is not they who attacked Ukraine, but it’s the West that’s at war with Russia.
It should be recalled that the Czech parliament recognized the actions of Putin’s army as genocide of the Ukrainian people. Also, the war against Ukraine will cost Russia more than has the 1998 default.
