Moscow Patriarchate’s Church damaged in Russian strike on Odesa

On May 2, the Russian occupiers launched another missile strike on Odesa. However, the enemy missile hit those who support the aggressor power – the Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov elaborated on the details of the attack, speaking on the air of the national telethon, Channel 24 reports.

“The roof of the church of the Moscow Patriarchate was demolished after the Ruscist attack. Unfortunately, we have people killed and wounded there in Odesa. This is probably revenge for May 2,” the politician noted, referring to the tragic events of several years ago when a pro-Russian riot turned violent and as a result people were killed in the city.

He noted that the Russian motives are difficult to understand. After all, they have always said that they love Odesa, referring to it as their “hometown”. However, their missiles are now being launched at the city.

It is worth noting that despite the missile strike on the ROCinU’s main church in Odesa, they continue to pray for the Moscow Patriarch as their “great Lord and Father.” They stand strong in their allegiance to the occupiers’ church.

It should be recalled that Odesa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov said a local cemetery had been hit in a Russian missile strike.
