Russian troops fired artillery on the town of Vasylivka, Zaporizhia region, damaging several households in the town center and another residential area, a shop and depot at the Tavriysk railway station, killing one and injuring five. The Russian forces are deploying their propaganda journalists to shoot reports aimed at falsely accusing the Ukrainian Armed Forces of shelling the area.
This was announced by the spokesman of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration, Colonel Ivan Arefyev.
“As a result of artillery shelling of the town of Vasylivka from the positions of the Russian armed forces, likely located in the village of Mykhailivka and the village of Orlyanske, several residential buildings in the town center and the private sector (the so-called “collective farm”) were damaged, a grocery store was destroyed and a depot at the Tavriysk railway station was damaged,” the colonel of the Armed Forces said.
He noted that as a result of the Russian shelling, a person was killed and five were injured.
Also, according to available reports, the Russian occupying forces intend to send to Vasylivka on April 15 a group of propagandists to produce propaganda reports for Russia’s federal television that are supposed to discredit the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It is probably about creating a picture for the Russian media, where Ukraine acts as an aggressor against own citizens.
It should be recalled that Russian propaganda and Russian intelligence agencies are successfully cooperating with the so-called UOC-MP to the detriment of Ukraine’s national interests. Russia also continues to use the youths to promote own propaganda narratives.
