“Our Army has ‘de-Nazified’ occupiers”: Zelensky on Russia’s plans to exterminate Ukrainians

The Russian occupiers, like the Nazis, came into Ukraine to kill civilians, but the defenders repulsed them and “de-Nazified” the Russian army.

This was announced by President Zelensky in an interview with the Turkish channel Habertürk.

They were going to kill Ukrainians and called it ‘de-Nazification.’ But they, themselves, behave like Nazis. Many of these military Nazis died. If this was the idea, then I believe that our Army has carried out ‘de-Nazification,’” said the President.

Zelensky added that more than 10,000 Russian servicemen have been killed since the beginning of the war.

“This proves once again that they were going to destroy Ukraine and called it ‘de-Nazification.’ But I want to tell you once again that they behaved like Nazis, they died, more than 10,000 of these military Nazis. If this was their plan, then I believe that our military carried out de-Nazification,’” Zelensky stressed.
