Russian forces abduct OCU priest in Berdiansk

In the city of Berdiansk, Russian invaders have raided a house of Oleh Nikolaiev, a priest with the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), detained, and taken him away in an unknown direction.
The relevant statement was made by local parishioners, Ukrinform reports.

In the morning, people armed with assault rifles surrounded the priest’s house. They conducted searches but did not find anything. Meanwhile, they detained the priest and took him away in an unknown direction.

The priest’s wife, Yuliia, who is suffering from an orphan disease and requires regular treatment, was ordered to not leave home.

Earlier, Oleh Nikolaiev received threats via text messages as the battle for Berdiansk was underway. The priest then posted a screenshot of messages, sent by enemy accomplices.
