The adviser to the head of the President’s Office, Oleksiy Arestovych, addressed the Belarusian nation via social media on Friday, March 11.
“Dear Belarusians. Today Lukashenko is in Moscow. It was during his visit at 14:00 that Russian planes struck the territory of Ukraine, made a loop and hit the territory of Belarus, after which Belarusian soldiers happily marched in columns towards the Belarusian border,” Arestovych said.
“We have an appeal from our Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov, and I can in turn inform you and repeat for the second time what we have long been talking about: we are not going to go to war with the Belarusians. And you should not allow yourself to be drawn into this criminal adventurism, which the Russians are deliberately provoking,” he said.
According to the adviser to the head of the President’s Office, the occupiers are now not only using the Belarusian military infrastructure, firing at Ukraine with volleys of Iskander ballistic missiles from the territory of the Republic. Now there is direct provocation – a strike on Ukrainian territory, then a strike on Belarusian territory.
“You don’t need this. We have killed more than 12,000 Russian servicemen in 15 days, you don’t need to become one of them,” he said.
