The closure of ports and sea areas by the Russian occupiers threatens world food supplies, as 60% of Ukraine’s agricultural products are exported through seaports.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Twitter.
“60% of #Ukraine’s agricultural products are exported through seaports. The closure of ports and the sea by the Russian army threatens the global supply chain of food. Defending Ukraine also protects the world from hunger and famine,” the statement said.
