Metropolitan Epifaniy talks cooperation with Bishop of Edmonton and Western Eparchy of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada

On August 26, Metropolitan Epifaniy, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine, received at his residence Hilarion (Rudnyk), Bishop of Edmonton and the Western Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada.

This was reported by the OCU press service.

His Beatitude discussed with the hierarch of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in the diaspora the issues of cooperation and inter-church relations.

It should be recalled that Metropolitan Epifaniy has named the OCU goal, which is to unite all Orthodox Ukrainians around the Kyiv throne.

During the four days of Patriarch Bartholomew’s stay in Kyiv, Metropolitan Epifaniy and the Ecumenical Patriarch honored the memory of our heroes and met with the children of fallen Ukrainian defenders. Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew met with the president, the prime minister, and the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
