A letter “Z”, a sign used by proponents of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, was spray-painted on a gate of an ROC church in Amsterdam, run by the St Nicholas parish with The Hague diocese.
That’s according to the parish’s press service.
The site was vandalized in the wake of reports that The Hague Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church refused to commemorate Patriarch Cyril (Gundyaev) a few days ago after the latter blessed Russian invaders who had attacked Ukraine.
It should be recalled that on March 12, the Spiritual Front of Ukraine reported that the ROC parish in Amsterdam had decided to pull out of the Moscow Patriarchate and join the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
