The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy, has recovered from the COVID-19 coronavirus disease.
This was announced on January 27 by the Kyiv Metropolis press service.
He had his test return negative the day before, the report says.
Metropolitan Epifaniy is in good health, returning to his normal duties, the press service notes.
“The Primate once again thanks all those who cared for his health, offered their prayers for him, and wished him a speedy recovery,” reads the statement.
It should be recalled that OCU Primate Metropolitan Epifaniy was diagnosed with COVID-19 on January 15.
