On November 2, 2021, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine met at his residence with the chief of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience, Olena Bohdan.
This is according to the press service of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current religious and interfaith situation, as well as the recent visit to Ukraine of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and the publication of a book dedicated to His All-Holiness.
His Beatitude thanked the head of the Agency for her assistance in organizing the said visit and presented her with a memorable church award.
In addition, the importance of Ukraine’s dialogue with the world was confirmed, including through the contacts of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine with other autocephalous Churches, the OCU report says.
