Metropolitan Epifaniy meets monks from Holy Mount Athos

On September 14, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epifaniy, met at his residence with a delegation of the Athos monasteries Xenophon and Pantocrator. The delegation included Hieromonk Seesoy and monk Macarius from the Xenophon monastery, as well as hieromonk Nikita and monk Hilarion from Pantocrator.

Clerics from the Holy Mount Athos visited Ukraine to honor the memory of St. John Vyshensky and co-served with Metropolitan Epifaniy during his visit to Lviv region.

The guests “shared pleasant impressions from visiting our God-blessed Ukrainian land and noted the prayerful spirit of the Ukrainian people,” the press service of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine reports.
