In the afternoon of November 9, Russian troops once again shelled Kherson. A residential block in the Ostriv microdistrict was damaged. As a result of the attack, a local resident was killed and three more people were injured.
This was reported on Telegram by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko.
“Around noon, the enemy shelled a residential quarter in the much-suffering Ostriv microdistrict. A 72-year-old local resident died,” Klymenko said.
Another man was injured and hospitalized. During the shelling, the victim was in the main entrance of the apartment block. Also, two civilians received medical assistance at the scene.
In addition, four high-rise buildings, educational facility premises, and a church were damaged.
