On October 29, after the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Epifaniy, accompanied by Archbishop Herman, visited the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, where he met with the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Zaparaniuk, Rector Roman Petryshyn, the faculty, and clergy.

During the meeting, possible directions of cooperation, preservation and multiplication of Ukrainian historical achievements, and the irreversible process of unification of Ukrainian Orthodoxy were discussed.
“It is the autocephalous Orthodox Church of Ukraine that is the only possible and canonically justified community in Ukraine, in which the process of unification of all the Orthodox in our country is truly taking place. And although this process has not yet been completed, its progress clearly shows that it is seeing success and a real future prospects,” said Metropolitan Epifaniy.
It should be recalled that Metropolitan Epifaniy handed flowers to believers in Bukovyna and earlier attended a celebration at the Dnipro Seminary.
