The Ukrainian people are currently putting in incredible efforts and paying an enormous price to protect and preserve God’s gift of freedom and independence – both territorial and spiritual.
It was the fate of our generation to pass this test, and we are passing it with dignity because we know that we must preserve this great gift of freedom, confirm it, and pass it on to future generations. So that they build our Ukrainian State and the Ukrainian Church in peace. It will certainly be so. Happy Independence Day, dear brothers and sisters!” said the Primate.
