On June 15, during a phone call, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine personally congratulated the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos on his nameday.
As reported by the OCU press service, the head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine thanked His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos for his support and constant prayers for Ukraine and its people, and wished him God’s help on the path of serving the Church and the people of Greece.
It should be recalled that the head of the Church of Greece reacted to the accident involving the vessel filled with migrants.
The OCU delegation arrived at the Assembly of the Conference of European Churches.
