The Moscow Patriarchate continues their desperate struggle with reality. Tthey do not accept the will of the faithful and their own clergy, who seek to pray in the Ukrainian language as part of the autocephalous church, not the Moscow one. Such is the reaction of the UOC MP to the transition of the community in the village of Zazymia to the autocephalous OCU, published on the official website of the UOC MP, the Spiritual Front of Ukraine reports.
Despite the fact that the parishioners were backed by Priest Anatoly Slynko, who also joined the OCU, the UOC-MP claims that this is not true.
“Once again, there was a change of concepts and, instead of a religious community, the village community gathered to decide the fate of the religious community and the Orthodox church,” the UOC MP said, trying to justify itself.
The commentary also refers to the alternative meetings, at which “loyalty to Onufriy (head of the UOC-MP) was proclaimed.
It should be recalled that Metropolitan Epifaniy welcomed the abbot of the Zazymia village community to the OCU.
