English can receive the status of the language of business communication in Ukraine.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on Telegram.
According to the head of government, such a possibility was discussed at a government meeting.
“Currently, the Cabinet of Ministers is working on the relevant legislative initiative. English is now used in business communication throughout the civilized world, so granting it such a status in Ukraine will help develop business, attract investment, and accelerate Ukraine’s European integration,” Shmyhal said.
A number of ministries have been tasked to process the proposals and draw up the relevant draft norms.”
