On April 11, 2025, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine received the chaplains serving with the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry at the Metropolitan House.

His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy was visited by the head of the HUR Chaplaincy Service, Archpriest Kostiantyn Kholodov, and his wife, as well as the chaplains, Archpriest Pavlo Osnovenko and Archpriest Volodymyr Romanyshyn.
His Beatitude discussed with the guests the pastoral support for Ukrainian soldiers, Motherland defenders, as well as the development of military chaplaincy in general.
In addition, Metropolitan Epifaniy congratulated Lieutenant Colonel of the Military Chaplaincy Service, Archpriest Kostiantyn Kholodov, on his 50th anniversary, awarding him the Order of the Holy Archangel Michael, 2nd degree, and presenting him with the Primate’s nominal cross.
