Another community in Khmelnytskyi region has joined the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. This was announced by OCU priest Volodymyr Kovalchuk.
The transition occurred after parishioners in the village of Ripky, Izyaslav district, cast their votes.
The UOC (MP) priest did not support the community.
“The Orthodox Church of Ukraine has been replenished with another parish. At the meeting of the religious community in the village of Ripky, Izyaslav district, it was decided by a majority vote to sever all ties with the Moscow Patriarchate and join the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. I thank the community for its position. Unfortunately, the rector did not support the community,” the priest noted.
