The publishing house of the Moscow Patriarchate presented a new book by the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Kirill (Gundyaev), entitled “To Holy Russia: Patriotism and Faith”, which is actually a textbook on military propaganda.
According to the publishers, the book tells of “the Russian world”, as well as faith, patriotism, and the Orthodox Church, which played a major role in Russia’s confrontation against foreign powers. The publication is richly illustrated with photographs related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, writes the Christians Against War platform.
The emergence of such a book is another evidence that the Russian Orthodox Church continues to actively support the aggressive policy of the Kremlin and justify the war against Ukraine, exploiting religious rhetoric to promote the ideology of “Russian world”.
