A source in law enforcement agencies said the Security Service of Ukraine launched warranted searches at the premises of a Kyiv-based men’s monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (in unity with the Moscow Patriarchate).
According to the hromadske media outlet, law enforcers are investigating the spread of Russian propaganda and support of aggression against Ukraine by monastery representatives.
The UOC (MP) has already commented on the raid. According to UOC (MP) lawyer Nikita Chekman, the legal team is already working at the scene.
It should be recalled that the Security Service of Ukraine reported on the number of criminal proceedings initiated against the priests with the UOC (MP) since year-start.
