Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew met with brotherly love on August 13, at the Phanar, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine, accompanied by Metropolitan Yevstratiy of Bila Tserkva.

Patriarch Bartholomew cordially received the official delegation from Ukraine, headed by Olena Kovalska, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, and Viktor Yelenskyi, head of the State Service for Ethnopolicies. The Ambassador of Ukraine in Ankara, Vasyl Bodnar, as well as Consul General Roman Nedilskyi and his Deputy Andriy Boyko, also attended the meeting.
Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, Patriarchal Deacon Epiphany Kamianovych, who served as an interpreter, and others also took part in the meeting.
At noon, Patriarch Bartholomew hosted a dinner in honor of high-ranking visitors to the Mother Church in the building of the Patriarchal City School of Maraslis.
