On March 7, 2024, a meeting of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations was held in Kyiv under the chairmanship of the Senior Bishop of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ukraine Stanislav Nosov. Heads and authorized representatives of churches and religious organizations of Ukraine, representatives from the State Service for Ethnopolicies and Freedom of Conscience, and experts took part in the event.

The First Deputy Chairman of the State Service, Viktor Voinalovych, briefed Council members on the state of state-confessional relations in Ukraine and answered questions, including about the draft law on amendments to legislation regarding the activities of religious organizations (No. 8371), a number of relevant issues of operations of religious organizations under martial law, etc.
At the meeting, the issue of the activities of the Council of Churches commissions on social and media services, as well as the working group on the restitution of property of religious organizations was discussed. Based on the results of the discussion, the Council issued relevant instructions to the Secretariat.
The participants of the meeting thanked Stanislav Nosov for his fruitful chairmanship of the Council of Churches. The President of the Ukrainian Bible Society Hryhoriy Komendant became Chairman for the next period.
Also, Bishop Avraamiy of Boryspil (OCU) took part in the meeting of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations. The vicar of the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was accompanied by archpriest Vitaly Danchak.
It should be recalled that the OCU Synod called for the removal of ROC’s Kirill from the patriarchateship and the adoption of a law on the ban of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine.
