On February 6, the Round Table “Church, Society, State: Dialogue for Unity and Victory” kicked off in the premises of the Metropolitan’s House on the territory of the Sophia of Kyiv National Reserve.
The event is taking place within the framework of the Forum of the Unity of Ukrainian Orthodoxy, the Sophia Brotherhood informs.
It was organized by an initiative group of clergy and believers with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (together with the Moscow Patriarchate) and the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolicies and Freedom of Conscience, St. Kyril Lukaris Center NGO, and the Center for Humanitarian Dialogue.
Representatives from the UOC (MP) and OCU took part in its work. Also, the head of SSUEFC Viktor Yelenskyi and the exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarch in Ukraine, Bishop Michael of Koman spoke before the participants as observers.
