As a result of Russia’s missile strike on Ukraine on January 2, a number of households and more than 60 cars sustained damage in several communities across Kyiv region. Downed missile debris caused a fire at the site of a temple under construction. Also, several businesses and warehouses were affected. One of the regional clinics suffered damage as well.
“A number of households and more than 60 cars were damaged in our communities. The debris caused a fire in a church under construction, several businesses and warehouses were damaged. One of the regional medical facilities was damaged,” said the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko.
In addition, in a number of communities in the Brovary, Bucha, Fastiv, and Vyshhorod districts faced issues with energy supply.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war.
So far, 92 civilians have been wounded amid the strike. Since December 31, Russian barbarians have launched hundreds of missiles and kamikaze drones at Ukraine. The absolute majority of them were targeting civil infrastructure.
