SBU detains enemy spotter from UOC church choir

The security service detained another supporter of Russian aggression, who is suspected to have been spotting enemy airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia.

According to the investigation, the detainee is a church chorister and wife of the abbot of the local UOC (MP) church.

It was established that the Russian invaders had tried to destroy Ukrainian military bases near the city based on coordinates provided by the suspect.

First of all, the enemy was interested in the points of temporary deployment of military units, involved in counteroffensive operations in the Berdiansk and Melitopol directions.

The SBU operatives identified and located the enemy accomplice and detained her in her own apartment in one of the villages near Zaporizhzhia.

As the investigation established, the suspect supported the criminal actions of Russian invaders from the outset of the full-scale invasion and hoped that the enemy would succeed in capturing the entire southern region of Ukraine.

She repeatedly told about it to her acquaintances from Moscow during phone calls.
