On June 13, 2023, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine met in his residence – the Metropolitan House – with representatives of the U.S.-based charity organization Help Heroes Of Ukraine, headed by Mr. Ihor Terletsky.

During the meeting, various projects of support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilian population, as well as the rehabilitation of servicemen, were discussed.
The head of the autocephalous Ukrainian Orthodox Church thanked the guests for their efforts in support of Ukraine amid the Russian invasion and invoked God’s blessing on them.
“In the face of the difficult trials of war, it is very important to unite and implement various social and charitable initiatives. I am glad that the Ukrainian diaspora in the United States of America understands this well and is actively involved in helping our soldiers – defenders. All together we will be able to repel the aggressor and with God’s help we will achieve a just peace,” His Beatitude noted.
