The court in Cherkasy sent the head of the UOC (MP)’s Cherkasy Diocese, Metropolitan Feodosii (Snihiriov), under 24-hour house arrest for 60 days as he is suspected of inciting enmity on religious grounds and glorifying the aggressor, UNN reports.
The Security Service of Ukraine has informed the head of the Cherkasy Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (MP) that he is suspected of inciting inter-confessional enmity.
Earlier, Metropolitan Feodosii threatened the authorities over the alleged “persecution” of the UOC (MP).
