    Church, kindergarten, homes damaged by Russian shelling in Donetsk region Wednesday

    Over the past day, the Russian artillery fired at the populated areas of Donetsk region, as a result of which casualties were reported. Residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, and a church were destroyed.

    This was announced by the head of Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, on Facebook.

    “Around midnight, the Russians shelled the Hrodivska community, which is relatively far from the front, employing artillery – there is a person wounded in Novoekonomichne, where the church was also damaged. The outskirts of Kramatorsk also came under fire – the enterprise premises were affected. In the Volnovakha direction, two households were affected in Bohoyavlenka in Vuhledar community; a building in Bahatyr was damaged by a missile strike,” Kyrylenko noted.

    He noted that the occupiers shelled the Kurakhiv community five times. Novoselydove was the most affected settlement as a kindergarten, dispensary, family recreation center, residential building and enterprise were damaged. The suburbs of Kurakhove and Trudove also came under fire. There were no casualties in the area.

    The head of the administration also said that toward Horlivka, the invaders launched an MLRS attack on Kostyantynivka and shelled Ivanopil with artillery twice, damaging a house and a depot. A nine-story building was damaged in the village of New York.

    A two-story residential block in Siversk was damaged in the Lysychansk direction, with no casualties reported.

    Over the past day, as a result of Russian aggression, two residents of Donetsk region were killed and seven were injured.
