On January 14, Metropolitan Epifaniy, head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, called the Russian missile strike by the Russian occupiers on a residential building in Dnipro a terrorist attack.
The top cleric commented on the atrocity via Twitter.
“Today is a holiday, but there is no festive mood, because pain is tearing our souls apart again – as a result of a Russian terrorist attack, a large house in Dnipro was destroyed. God, accept the souls of the dead, help save the injured, and heal the wounded. And give the soulless what they deserve!” wrote Epifaniy.
It should be recalled that, according to expert estimates, as of the fall of 2022, the number of parishes of the OCU and the UOC (MP) had equalized.
