On September 18, all windows were shattered in the church of the holy martyrs Vira, Nadiia, and Liubov and their mother Sophia in the village of Musiivka due to artillery shelling by Russian invaders.
That’s according to Pavlo Cherkasov, an OCU priest, who broke the news via Facebook.
“The projectile fell on the garden near the temple, where it exploded. We received this ‘gift’ ahead of our our temple holiday, which is celebrated on September 30. A very unpleasant and terrifying event,” said the posting.
The priest thanked God because the abbot of the temple and his daughter (who were near the temple) were not injured by the strike.
“The Russian horde ‘de-Nazified’ only windows and tomatoes that were growing in the garden. But we will not be beaten by the gates of hell so easily! We will win!” concluded the OCU priest.
It should be recalled that the Russian tank was reported to be firing at civilians in Kharkiv region. Meanwhile, in Donetsk region, a UOC-MP priest and his wife were injured by shelling.
