We’d rather be without electric power than with Russians – Zelensky addresses Ukrainians

President Volodymyr Zelensky reacts to Russia shelling civilian infrastructure, cutting off power supply to a number of regions

He addressed the issue on Telegram.

“Even through the impenetrable darkness, Ukraine and the civilized world clearly see these acts of terror. Deliberate and cynical missile strikes on civilian critical infrastructure. No military facilities. Kharkiv and Donetsk regions were in a blackout. In Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions there are partial issues with power supply,” the president noted.

Zelensky asked the Russians if they still think that they will be able to intimidate, break, and persuade the Ukrainians to make concessions, and if they really failed to understand anything.

“Read my lips: Without gas or without you? Without you. Without light or without you? Without you. Without water or without you? Without you. Without food or without you? Without you. Cold, hunger, darkness, and thirst are not as scary and deadly for us as your ‘friendship and brotherhood.’ But history will put everything in its place. And we will have gas, light, water, and food… WITHOUT you!”, stated the president of Ukraine.
