The National Bank received from the United Kingdom GBP 5 million (more than UAH 182 million in equivalent) to a special account opened to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This is the largest amount received in support of the Ukrainian Army within a single transfer in foreign currency from donors outside Ukraine since Russia unleashed its full-scale war against Ukraine.
It should be recalled that the UOC in the USA in cooperation with the Orthodox Church of Ukraine continues fundraising amid the ongoing war.
