The weapons provided to Ukraine by its allies, including the United States, will inevitably change the positions of the warring parties. However, this will not happen as quickly as Ukrainians would like. This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov in an interview with RFE/RL.
“They (weapons – ed.) will definitely change the positions of the parties. We need to understand that this will not be as quick as we would like,” said the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
At the same time, he said that Ukrainian soldiers are already undergoing training to properly use the new weapons that are being delivered.
“I can say that the process has finally been launched. Just two or three weeks ago, we would ask every day to give us heavy weapons, but today the issue has already been resolved,” Danilov added.
He assured that in the near future the Russian occupiers will see what Ukraine’s new weapons are capable of.
