On the morning of April 18, Russian troops attempted to penetrate the Ukrainian Army defenses. The occupiers are trying to capture the entire territory of Luhansk and Donetsk regions by Easter, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said at a national telethon, Spravdi reports.
“This morning, the occupiers tried to break through our defenses along almost the entire front line in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions. Our military is holding on. They passed in only two locations – Kreminna and another small town. Firefights continue, we are not surrendering our territories. Their attempt to start the active phase started this morning,” Danilov said.
He also called on Ukrainians who currently found themselves in locations where active hostilities are starting to flee immediately.
“You see, it’s about Easter, they are already looking into doing this before Easter, although I don’t know how they canrelate to God, but they set themselves the task – to grab part of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, to give such a gift to their Fuhrer,” said Danilov.
It should be recalled that Russian propaganda has invented and is spreading fakes about the Ukrainian authorities allegedly plotting to shell temples on Easter night.
